About this rug
A faded beige medallion sits inside a terracotta border, with rose in the details. The surface is flat and smooth, with no pile at all. Jute and wool are woven together by hand in India: the jute gives body, the wool softens the feel. Colour can vary slightly between rugs.
Living rooms and dining rooms with timber floors, where a flat rug stays clear of chair legs and door edges. The terracotta border picks up brass, rattan and warm white walls.

Care
- Vacuum on suction only, with the beater bar off.
- Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
- Let the rug dry flat in open air if it gets damp.
- Snip any loose end level with the surface. Never pull it.
- Turn the rug every six months so it wears evenly.
- Use a rug pad on hard floors so the rug stays flat and does not slip.
- For a deep clean, use a professional rug cleaner.

Will a new wool rug shed?
New wool rugs can shed loose fibres at first. Gentle, regular vacuuming helps. If you’re concerned about your rug, send us a photo and we’ll help.
How do I look after it?
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, blot spills with a dry white cloth, rotate every 6–12 months and use a rug pad. Full care guide.
