About this rug
A flat, smooth weave in solid tones, stone beige as the ground with charcoal and grey as the alternatives. The pile is low. Canvas is handwoven from wool in India. Being plain, it shows small differences in edge and shade more readily than a textured rug would, which is a real handmade limit.
Living rooms and bedrooms where a calm, plain floor is wanted. The largest size, 240 x 450 cm, is long enough for a big open-plan room or a long dining table.

Measuring. Leave 30–45 cm (12–18 in) of floor showing around the rug. Under a dining table, allow 60 cm (24 in) beyond each side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.

Care
- Vacuum once a week on suction only, with the beater bar off.
- Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
- Wool sheds a little in the first weeks. Regular vacuuming clears it.
- Snip any loose end level with the pile. Never pull it.
- Turn the rug every six months so it wears and fades evenly.
- Use a rug pad on hard floors so the rug stays flat and does not slip.
- For a deep clean, use a professional rug cleaner.

Will a new wool rug shed?
New wool rugs can shed loose fibres at first. Gentle, regular vacuuming helps. If you’re concerned about your rug, send us a photo and we’ll help.
How do I look after it?
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, blot spills with a dry white cloth, rotate every 6–12 months and use a rug pad. Full care guide.
