About this rug
Fine white grid lines cross a pale grey ground, close to a draughtsman's paper. The surface is flat and smooth with a low pile. It is hand-loomed in India from recycled PET yarn, made from plastic bottles. The grid will sit slightly off true in places, as hand loomed work does.
Living rooms, bedrooms and verandahs. In a living room the grid sits quietly under a sofa; on a covered porch the recycled PET copes with the outdoors.

Measuring. Leave 30–45 cm (12–18 in) of floor showing around the rug. Under a dining table, allow 60 cm (24 in) beyond each side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out.

Care
- Vacuum or sweep regularly.
- Hose it down and let it dry flat in the sun.
- Spills wipe off with mild soap and water.
- Use a rug pad on hard floors so the rug stays flat and does not slip.
- Lift it in heavy rain so the floor beneath can dry.

Will a new wool rug shed?
New wool rugs can shed loose fibres at first. Gentle, regular vacuuming helps. If you’re concerned about your rug, send us a photo and we’ll help.
How do I look after it?
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar, blot spills with a dry white cloth, rotate every 6–12 months and use a rug pad. Full care guide.
